Guidelines for Abstract Submission

General Information

·         Abstracts are invited for oral and poster presentations in the field of Fetal Medicine under the following categories-

ü  High Risk Pregnancy

ü  Aneuploidies and Congenital Malformations

ü  Hemoglobinopathies

ü  Fetogenetics

ü  Fetal Imaging

·         The submission deadline is 31st May 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted.

·         Abstracts should be original and not previously published or presented at any other conference.

·         Only registered participants can submit abstracts. Ensure you complete your conference registration before submission.

Abstract Submission Format For Oral Presentation

·         Title: Should be concise and clearly indicate the study topic (maximum 20 words).

·         Authors: Full names of all authors with their affiliations. The presenting author should be underlined.

·         Affiliation: Institution name, city, and country.

·         Corresponding Author: Provide an email and phone number.

·         Abstract Body: Should not exceed 250 words (excluding title, authors, and affiliations) and must be structured as follows:

ü  Background/ Objectives: Brief introduction and aim of the study.

ü  Methods: Study design, sample size, and methodology.

ü  Results: Key findings with statistical analysis (if applicable).

ü  Conclusion: Main takeaway and relevance to fetal medicine.

ü  Keywords: Provide 3–5 relevant keywords.

·         Font and Formatting

ü  Font: Times New Roman, Size 12, Single spacing

ü  File format: MS Word (.doc/.docx)

Oral Presentation Guidelines

·         Selected abstracts for oral presentation will be allotted 7 minutes (5 minutes presentation + 2 minutes for Q&A).

·         Presentations must be prepared in PowerPoint (.pptx) format.

·         Slides should be concise, with minimal text and clear visuals. [preferably not more than 8 slides]

·         Presenters must arrive at least 15 minutes before the session begins.

Poster Presentation Guidelines

·         E-Posters must be in PowerPoint (.pptx) format with a single slide.

·         Layout should be landscape (16:9 aspect ratio).

·         The title, authors, and affiliations should be prominently displayed at the top.

·         Keep text minimal and use high-resolution images, graphs, and tables for better visualization.

·         Font size should be large enough for clear readability (at least 24pt for body text).

·         Avoid excessive details—focus on key findings.

·         E-Posters will be displayed on large digital screens during the conference.

·         Presenters are required to be available for discussion during the E-Poster viewing session.

Submission Process

·         Abstracts should be submitted on the given Email Id: sfmraj24.26@gmail.com

·         An acknowledgment email will be sent upon successful submission.

·         Notification of acceptance/rejection will be sent by [10th June 2026].

Evaluation Criteria

Abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee based on:

1.      Relevance to fetal medicine

2.      Scientific rigor and methodology

3.      Novelty and innovation

4.      Clarity of presentation

Awards and Recognition

Best Oral and Poster Presentation Awards will be presented
